What does Electronic Judicial Domicile refer to?
At the OAB’s request, the format for issuing subpoenas through the Electronic Judicial Domicile has been modified. This online tool centralizes all procedural communications from Brazilian courts on a single portal.
Moreover, it is an uncomplicated and efficient system for accessing and monitoring citations, subpoenas, and procedural notifications.
Within the Electronic Judicial Home, every company is assigned an electronic trust address for the receipt of procedural communications. This includes the company’s corporate register stored within the system, with email being one of the available communication methods.
The Importance of Making Changes
Since 2023, personal and procedural information has been transmitted through the DJE system, causing issues as numerous courts are utilizing it for this purpose.
With system access, the company’s representative could create a deadline specifically for lawyers instead of opening it for everyone in the company. This action caused discontent among many lawyers, prompting the OAB to intervene.
Considering that notifications from each court are sent in different ways and that lawyers’ deadlines were being missed due to actions by the parties, the request was appropriately addressed.
In conclusion, as per Resolution No. 569 of 2024, the party will no longer have the ability to initiate a power of attorney.

What has been altered?
The regulations for Electronic Judicial Domicile were modified, and the inclusion of lawyer subpoenas in the system was removed.
Currently, only individual subpoenas are being issued by DJE, specifically targeting the parties involved.
Therefore, to assist with advocacy matters, the causydics will only be required to appear in court when the deadlines are approaching, as determined by the DJE.
