Which staff members and courts will be active during the forensic break at TJRJ in 2024/2025?
Under the provisions of Article 10 in the Joint Normative Act No. 11/2024, the approved Sticks and Juits for employment are:
On weekdays, various specialized courts handle cases related to criminal executions, domestic violence against women, children and youth, elderly individuals, alternative measures, socioeducational measures, and crimes against children and adolescents.
During the 2023/2024 forensic break, the Custody Audience Centers of TJRJ will operate continuously, as stated in Art. 18 of Joint Normative Act No. 11/2024.
The Custody Audience Centers in the Courts of Justice in Rio de Janeiro (Capital, Campos dos Goytacazes, and Volta Redonda) will function as usual during the court recess, considering their respective duties.
The CEAC’s Round Volta and Campos dos Goytacazes will determine their own schedules for holidays, weekends, and optional points.
If the Law Judge assigned to the Custody Audience Centers coincides with the State’s daily plantation schedule, the latter can request to change it up to 48 hours before the set date through the Court’s Presidency. The State’s schedule will take precedence, without affecting the Serventia’s planting on both scales. In such situations, a substitute planting judge will be appointed by DEMOV to work with the CEACs in Campos dos Goytacazes and Volta Redonda.
Extrajudicial services will adhere to the regular office hours on working days during the forensic recess of 2024/2025, in accordance with Art. 34 of Joint Act No. 11/2024.
Extrajudicial services must adhere to regular working hours during the recess period, as outlined in Article 57(2) of the Code of Standards of the General Correction of Justice.
How will the cost collection be conducted during the Forensic Recess 2024/2025 at TJRJ?
The concerned party is required to submit the necessary documents to the bank on the first working day following, as stated in Article 12 of Executive Act No. 192/2024 of the TJRJ, unless the case involves free legal services or expenses.
Failure to meet this requirement will result in a twofold payment as outlined in Article 33 of State Law No. 3.350/99.

Judicial Plant during the Forensic Recess 2024/2025: Initial Stage of TJRJ
The Joint Normative Act 11/2024, governing the 1st instance Judicial Plant during the forensic recess period, states that:
The initial level of the judiciary is solely for reviewing the items specified in Article 11 and its subsections of CNJ Resolution No. 326, dated 26.6.2020.
Requests must be submitted solely through the online portal of the Rio de Janeiro State Judiciary Branch.
The materials specified in Article 11 of CNJ Resolution 326/2020 are the ones required for the construction of the judiciary plant 2023/2024 in TJRJ.
CNJ Resolution No 71 from March 31, 2009 is currently effective with the following modifications.
The judicial plantations at both levels of jurisdiction are designated to handle specific matters such as habeas corpus applications, arrest communications, appraisal of provisional freedom requests, urgent requests for search and seizure, and civil or criminal precautionary measures that cannot be delayed due to the risk of serious damage.
The judicial system is not meant to repeat a request that has already been considered by the original court or to reconsider it, nor to examine requests for extending authorization for telephone surveillance.
Urgent measures involving the deposit of money or valuables can only be authorized in writing by the appropriate judicial authority and must be carried out during regular banking hours by an authorized server under the judge’s explicit delegation.
Requests for withdrawing money or valuables or releasing seized goods will not be considered during the plantation.

The holiday and weekend schedule for Capital will be available electronically from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM as stated in Article 3 and § 1 of Joint Normative Act no. 11/2024.
On holidays and weekends falling on December 21, 22, 24, 25, 28, 29, and 31, 2024, as well as January 1, 4, and 5, 2025, the Electronic Daytime Judicial Plant in the Capital District will operate from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM, following the designated schedule prepared by the Presidency, focusing on criminal cases.
During the specified days, the Justice Officers stationed at the court must be present to carry out required tasks, along with additional personnel designated by the Magistrates.
Plant operating during the day in the capital on weekdays
The Diurnal Plantation in the Capital during weekdays will operate from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM as stated in Article 4 of Joint Normative Act no. 11/2024.
On the specified dates in December 2024 and January 2025, the Forensic Recess Day Plant will operate in the Capital District from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Judges and employees will be on duty during this time.
The magistrates and servers assigned to the plantation will work at the 2nd and 23rd Special Civil Courts of the Capital District, located on the 1st floor of the Capital Central Forum.
Magistrates and employees handling civil matters will work at the 2nd Special Civil Court of the Capital District, while those dealing with criminal cases will be based at the 23rd Special Civil Court of the Capital District.
The Justice Officers must stay on duty to follow specific measures and procedures.
Designated servers must be present on the day of the hearing, while remote work is allowed for servers who have been authorized in advance.
The Diurnal Recess Plant is included in Notification CGJ 74/2021.
The plantation will take place in room 102 D at the 2nd Special Civil Court of the Capital District to address civil matters in general.
Criminal cases will be addressed in room 110 D at the 23rd Civil Court of the district.
Forensic Labor (CLT): Immediate actions and deadlines in labor procedures
Daily breaks are scheduled indoors on weekdays, holidays, and weekends.
The daytime factory located indoors will operate from 11:00 to 18:00, as stated in Article 11 of the Collaborative Regulatory Act No. 11/2024.
In the rural areas, the Recession Plant from December 20, 2024 to January 6, 2025 will follow the schedule provided by the Court of Justice and operate from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Judges and staff will be present to fulfill their duties during this period.
The officials and employees assigned to the facility will work within the service premises.
Officials are required to stay on duty to fulfill specific requirements and regulations.
All servers assigned to deliver judgments must be present on the day of the hearing, with remote work allowed only for authorized servers.

Judicial Plant during the 2024/2025 Forensic Break: TJRJ’s Second Instance
The Executive Act No. 192/2024 sets out regulations for the operation of the Second Instance Judiciary Plant during the forensic recess.
During the judicial break from December 20, 2024, to January 6, 2025, Deembargators will follow the specified schedule to review materials mentioned in CNJ Resolution No. 326/20, Article 11 and its subsections.
The Shippers’ assignment will follow a descending order based on how long they have been part of the night squad.
Permutations that have been agreed upon by the Landers regarding tasks or duty days must be written and communicated to the Presidency at least 72 hours in advance.
The materials used by the 2nd instance judiciary branch of TJRJ during the 2024/2025 judicial recess are in accordance with Art. 11 of CNJ Resolution No. 326/2020.

What is the schedule for the court’s operations during the 2nd Grade Forensic Recess at TJRJ?
Article 13 of Executive Act No. 192/2024 specifies the Plantão schedule.
The plantation mentioned in this Executive Act will operate between 11 and 18 hours on working days during the recess period, without affecting the Day and Night Plants of the 2nd Degree of Jurisdiction as per TJ/OE Resolution no 33/2014 combined with Executive Act no 61/2015.
How will the petition function in the second-grade judiciary plant of TJRJ?
During the 2023/2024 forensic break, all filings in the 2nd-degree judiciary plantation of the TJRJ will be conducted solely via the Rio de Janeiro State Judiciary Branch Portal.
Petitions can be emailed in PDF format to “[email protected]” between 11am and 6pm if the system is not accessible.
Petitions can be submitted in person at the Protocol and Registration Service of the 2nd Instance in the Central Forum if email is not working.

Returns are accepted via email as a single PDF document attachment to [email protected], only if the system is unavailable between 11 AM and 6 PM.
Returns may be made by physical means only if the email is not functioning, and it must be submitted to the Protocol and Support Service for Judicial Activities of the Second Degree of Jurisdiction (SGJUD/DEJUR SEPCA) in Room 227C at the Central Forum. The document should be categorized as civil or criminal and directed to the appropriate Judgement Bureau.
What is the extent of Deembargators at the 2nd Grade Plant during the Forensic Recess of 2024/2025?
Landlord sizes in the judicial plant are outlined in Article 2 of Executive Order No. 192/2024.
During the holiday period from December 20 to 30, 2024, and January 2 to 6, 2025, four Shippers will work from 11:00 to 18:00 to assess the hours submitted during those times.
The allocation of responsibilities between Civil and Criminal jurisdictions will be determined through mutual agreement among the Landers. If no agreement is reached, the younger career managers will handle criminal cases, while the more senior ones will handle civil cases.
The Embargators will decide on the division of tasks among themselves. If they cannot agree, the division will be based on one task per Deembargator, starting with the most recent one, following the order of task distribution.
If the optional point is placed on the specified working day, the scale will remain unchanged as originally presented.
Two Embargators will be assigned to work 24-hour shifts on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays starting at 11 AM, following the same schedule.
The Deembargators will establish their roles based on consensus or by assigning expedients to each member, starting with the most recent one and following the order of distribution.
How will the Secretariats and Assistants of the 2nd Degree function during the Forensic Recess of 2024/2025?
The operation of the Secretariats of the 2nd Degree Judges is governed by Art. 4 of the Executive Act No. 195/2023 of the TJRJ.
The Secretariats of the designated Judges for the regression plant will handle all received matters during working hours of the planting period, following decisions and transferring any pending tasks to the next working day.
How will the service for the audience operate?
The 2nd grade of TJRJ will not have in-person attendance and will only be conducted through the virtual platform.
Article 4(1) of the Executive Act No. 192/2024 contains this decision.
During the specified timeframe in Article 2, there will be no in-person public service, and lawyers must contact the Magistrate solely through electronic means (Virtual Balcony) or the court’s phone line.
